Ronald Lynn Flood

Gretna……….Ronald Lynn Flood, age 63 of 1837 Terry Road, Gretna died Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at his residence.
Born April 3, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Ronald Solon Flood and Arlene Elizabeth Besette Bonnett. He was a retired Army Sgt. having served three tours in Vietnam. Mr. Flood was a Native American and was the Master of Ceremonies for several Pow Wows between 1999 and 2009 until his health failed. He enjoyed spending time with his family, helping others, enjoyed arts & crafts and was a first class beader. He was also known as a wonderful joke teller and for his warm sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Heidi Wilson Flood of the residence; one son, Ryan Flood of Gretna and one daughter, Rebecca Flood of Gretna.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
