Hurt……….Roger Rowland, age 59 of 240 Dews Road, Hurt died Saturday, April 7, 2012.
Born August 17, 1952, he was a son of the late Charlie Thomas Rowland and Corrine Dalton Rowland. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas "T" Rowland. Roger liked working on cars, especially Fords. He enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, music and dancing.
He is survived by a brother Dan Rowland of Gretna; three sisters, Dora Mitchell of Hurt, Ann Compton of Hurt, and Mandy Seamster of Gladys; three nephews, Justin Compton, B.J. Seamster, and Colby Seamster; one niece, Melisa Rudder; and one great-niece, Hayden Rudder.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Tim Wilde. Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
