Gretna…….Rodney Dale Moore, age 53 of Gretna died Sunday, September 6, 2020 at his residence.

Born March 30, 1967 in Bedford, he was a son of Paul "Les" Moore of Hurt and Joyce Ann Jenkins of Gretna.  He was predeceased by a brother, Kenny Wayne Moore; an infant brother, his maternal grandparents, Herbert and Pearl Jenkins; his paternal grandparents, David and Missouri Moore; and his step-mother, Thelma Moore.  Rodney was a former supervisor with the Lane Company; and he enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing, hunting, traveling, and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Timothy Moore of Phenix; one sister, J. Annette Shelton of Gretna; one step-son, Daniel Doss of Gretna; one step-daughter, Jennifer Barbour of Gretna; four step-grandchildren, Hailee, Cole, Daniel, Jr., and Brayden; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends and family who have been there through it all.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
