Dry Fork………Rodney Wade Brumfield, age 50 of Dry Fork died Thursday, October 6, 2022 at his residence.

Born December 12, 1971 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Vernon Wade Brumfield and Ruby Farmer Brumfield. Mr. Brumfield attended Spring Garden Community Church and was a Public Works Technician for Pittsylvania County. He loved his dog Matilda, was big NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to races.

He is survived by one sister, Rachel Dunford and husband, Darrell of Dry Fork; two nieces, Samantha Guzzardo and husband, David and Madisyn Dunford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews and Pastor Clark Crowder. Burial will follow in Brumfield Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
