Robin Rowland Cowart

Rustburg……….Robin Rowland Cowart, age 51 of Rustburg died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Born August 13, 1964 in Lynchburg she was a daughter of Jerry Paul Rowland and friend, Jean of Altavista and Peggy Dalton Rowland and fiancé, Steve of Gretna. Robin was a former employee of Abbott Laboratories. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitching and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ron Cowart of the residence; one daughter, Holly Cowart of Roanoke; two sons, Chris Cowart and fiancée, Lisa of Rustburg and Eric Cowart and wife, Kristin of Rustburg; one brother, Jeffery Rowland and wife, Sharon of Gretna; one sister, Kelly Evans and husband, Stacy of Evington; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two grandbunnies, Guinevere and Cleo.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Altavista Memorial Park by Rev. Jason Andrews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4200 Innslake Drive, Suite 301, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 120 Wall Street 29th Floor, NY, NY 10005.
The family would like to express a special gratitude to the nurses, CNAs and housekeepers that supported Robin, whom she loved dearly at Autumn Care of Altavista.
