Gretna……Robert "Bob" Morton Keatts, age 91 of Gretna died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville.

Born June 13, 1930 in the Motley Community of Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Kelly Morton Keatts and Bessie Frances Updike Keatts. He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Dalton Keatts; two brothers, Harold Keatts and Oliver Keatts; two sisters, Bernice Gibson and Daisy Dudley; and a son-in-law, Eugene Reynolds. Mr. Keatts was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He was a carpenter for 14 years building houses for Ollie Short before going to work at B&W for 17 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Alfred Keatts of Gretna; one daughter, Robin Reynolds of Gretna; five grandchildren, Shannon Hines and husband, Kevin, Eric Keatts, Corey Reynolds and wife, Lindsay, Ryan Reynolds and wife, Jessica, and Brittany Thomas and husband, Greg; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. R.G. Rowland and Rev. Jason Andrews. Burial will follow in the Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
