Hurt……Robert Marvin "Bob" Jackson, Jr. age 83 of Hurt, died Sunday, January 28, 2024 at his residence.

Born November 15, 1940 in Gloversville, NY, he was a son of the late Robert Marvin Jackson, Sr., and Margie Marcellus Jackson.  He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Bates Jackson; one brother, Dickie Jackson; and one sister, Kathy Jackson.  Bob was a retired supervisor with Gloversville Water Works.  He loved to play the guitar; and played in the band, "Outlaws II" for over sixty years.

He is survived by three daughters, Jolene Nichols and husband, Patrick of Hurt, Brenda Wagner and husband, Steve of Gloversville, NY, and Sherry Mccallum of Johnstown, NY; three brothers, Ray Jackson and wife, Lori of Gloversville, NY, Tommy Jackson of Mayfield, NY, and Bill Jackson of Gloversville, NY; three sisters, Marlene Bornt of Gloversville, NY, Sandy Hamel of Gloversville, NY, and Sue Gray of Gloversville, NY; four grandchildren, Bristol, Gavin, Brandie, and Brad; and one great-grandchild, Tyler.

Memorial services will take place at a later date in New York.
