Gretna………Robert "Bob" Anderson Huffman, age 82 of Gretna died Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab Center in Lynchburg.

Born August 22, 1941 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Robert Edward Huffman, and Gladys Mildred Conner Dalton.  He was predeceased by one son, Anthony Robert Huffman; and one brother, Reginald Dalton.  Mr. Huffman was an Air Force Veteran, and a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He ran Bob and Rita's prior to running Bob's Market for almost 20 years.  Mr. Huffman enjoyed hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Spencer Huffman of the residence; four daughters, Mindy Hume of Florida, Kelly Poindexter Huffman of New Hampshire, Britany Heybrock and husband, Joshua of Virginia Beach, and Kyley Huffman of Gretna; one son, Ryley Huffman of Gretna; two brothers, Frank Dalton of Maryland, and Dennis Dalton and wife, Barbara of Richmond; one sister, Alise Freeman of Hampton; four granddaughters, Haven Heybrock, Harlow Heybrock, Hadley Heybrock and Hensley Heybrock; and special friends, Roy and D.J. Barnard of Altavista, and Becky and Tony Rowland and family of Gretna.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
