Altavista………Robert Louis Harris, Jr., age 65 of Altavista died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at his residence.
Born September 9, 1951 in Lynchburg he was a son of the late Robert Louis Harris, Sr. and Susie Cox Harris. He was predeceased by one brother, William Harris; and one sister, Virginia Smith. Mr. Harris enjoyed fishing, working on cars and spending time with his dog, "Boo Boo."
He is survived by his wife, Joan Harris of the residence; four sons, Robert "Bobby" Harris, III of Altavista; David King of Lynchburg, Michael Bradner of Altavista and Tracy Bradner of Altavista; one daughter, Audrey Harris; one brother, James Harris; one sister, Ethel Rivers; and seven grandchildren.
Per his request there will be no public service.
