Hurt……….Ricky Vassar Langford, age 59 of Hurt, died Friday, November 4, 2022.

Born November 14, 1962 in Charlotte County, he was a son of Joseph Russell Langford and Linda Boettcher Langford of Charlotte County. He was predeceased by a son, Landon Langford. Mr. Langford was a member at New Beginnings Baptist Church and worked at BWXT. Ricky loved going to church, taking care of his animals and doing carpentry work around the house.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Barbour Langford of the residence; one daughter, Alex Seegret of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Sandra Scruggs and husband, Jerry of Spout Spring and Jennifer Jordan and husband, Jeff of Brookneal; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Clark, Sr. & wife, Madeline and Robert Barbour & wife, Hazel; a sister-in-law, Kathy Brumfield; two nephews, Tyler Scruggs and Andrew Jordan; two nieces, Ashley Irby and Haley Jordan; and two great-nephews, Ryder Irby and Colson Irby

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at New Beginnings Baptist Church by Rev. Bobby Brumfield. Burial will follow in the Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
