Hurt……Richard Wayne Jones, age 55 of Hurt died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his residence.

Born February 29, 1964 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Reginald Wayne Jones and Connie Hutcherson Jones of Hurt.  Mr. Jones was the owner/operator of Richard's Auto Repair.  He was a good mechanic, and there was nothing that he couldn't fix.  He loved restoring antique clocks, and he enjoyed gardening and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Travis Jones of St. Joseph, MO; one brother, Randy Jones and wife, Jeanie of Gretna; his longtime partner, Christie Wood of the residence; and a nephew Zach Jones and wife, Liz of Altavista.

Per his request there will be no public service.
