Gladys……….Bobby "Ray Ray" Downey, Jr., age 51 of Gladys died Friday, January 17, 2020 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born January 1, 1969 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Bobby Ray Downey, Sr. and Phyllis Gail Seamster Tuck.  He was predeceased by a brother, Brandon Downey.  "Ray Ray" was dedicated to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Shannon Motley and husband, Scott of Chatham, and Felicia Burkhardt and husband, Matt of Gretna; one brother, Lewis Downey of Gladys; a cousin and caretaker, Bruce Seamster and wife, Hopie of Gladys; and five grandchildren, Shyanne McCluster, Landon McCluster, Payden Burkhardt, Logan Motley and Wesson Burkhardt.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
