Gretna……….Ray Morgan Doss, age 71 of Gretna went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his residence.

Born February 8, 1953 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Willard Jake Doss and Gustava Dawson Doss.  Mr. Doss retired from Klopman Mills.  He loved eating Sue's home cooked meals, Sunday morning pancakes, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Minnix Doss of the residence; one son, Christopher Ray Doss of Gretna; one daughter, Kimberly Bruffy and husband, Justen of Rustburg; two brothers, David Doss of Altavista and Owen Doss and wife, Donna of Evington; four sisters, Carolyn O'Connell and husband, Steve of Gretna, Judy Colbert and husband, Phillip of Hurt, Molly Lambert and husband, Mike of Hurt and Elsie Roberts and husband, Keith of Hurt.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Greg Hedrick.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
