Long Island…..Randy James Worsham, age 59 of Long Island died Thursday October 18, 2018 at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab Center in Lynchburg.

Born December 23, 1958 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Yvonne Elliott Guthrie and husband, Douglas of Hurt and the late James "Jake" William Worsham.  Mr. Worsham was a member of Edge Hill Baptist Church where he served as a former Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.  He worked at Klopman Mills for over 20 years.  He also worked at BGF Industries and volunteered at Hurt Elementary School.  Mr. Worsham enjoyed hunting, telling jokes and spending time with his cat, "Pooh."

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by one daughter, Ashley K. Worsham of Evington; two sisters, Debbie W. Crews and husband, Randy of Long Island and Rhonda W. Reynolds and husband, Eddie of Hurt; and former wife, Cathy A. Worsham of Hurt.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Edge Hill Baptist Church by Pastor Joe Cornell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of his sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Eddie Reynolds.
