Randy (Cody) Evans

Penhook............Randy Steven (Cody) Evans, age 56 of 1246 Smith Mountain Road died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at his residence.
Born February 4, 1954 in Los Angeles, CA he was a son of Dorothy Evans of Riverside, CA and the late, Harold Edward Evans. Cody was a US service veteran. He enjoyed music, art, gardening, collecting coins and World War II memorabilia.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Christie Evans of the residence; three daughters, Erin Foss of Palmdale , CA, Jill Tucker of Canyon Country, CA and Michelle Bertine and husband, Brian of Winston-Salem, NC; one brother, Alan Evans of San Pedro, CA; one sister, Linda Springer of Riverdale, CA; and 8 grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Barbour Family Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Paul Stone.
