Gretna……….Dennis Randall "Randy" Scott, age 59 of Gretna died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born March 31, 1960 in Danville, he was a son of the late James David Scott and Gracie Helen Giles Scott.  He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Scott; and a sister, Gloria Sue Sigmon.   Mr. Scott was a  driver with Davenport Energy.  He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Bowling Scott of the residence; two sons, Jeremy Parsons of Gretna, and Benjamin Parsons and wife, Jill of Gretna; two brothers, Charles Scott and wife, Jane of Gretna, and Dean Scott of Gretna; one sister, Lillian Burton and husband, Bill of Prospect Hill, NC; his mother-in-law, Arlene Bowling of Gretna; and one granddaughter, Reagan Parsons.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Zion United Methodist Church by Pastor David Edinger and Rev. Charles Scott.   Burial will follow in the Andrews Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
