Hurt……….Curtis Randolph "Randy" Moss, age 83 of Hurt died Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Born August 9, 1940 in Danville, he was a son of the late Bernard Ray Moss and Myrtle Overby Moss. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Clay Moss; and three brothers, Hartwell Moss, Dan Moss, and Ronnie Moss.  Mr. Moss was a member of Hurt United Methodist Church, and he retired from Abbott Laboratories.  He enjoyed camping, gardening, and being outdoors.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen Reynolds of Hurt, and Terri Rowland and husband, Randy of Gretna; one son, Mark Moss of Hurt; one sister, Betty Amos of Gretna; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Moss of Danville, and Carol  Ann Moss of Gretna; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Shelton and husband, Josh; three great-grandchildren, Levi, Ryleigh, and Eli; and his beloved dog, "Lucy."

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jason Andrews.  Burial will follow in Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, and other times will be at the residence.
