Gretna, VA…….Randy Lee Gregory, age 82 of Gretna died Monday, October 30, 2023 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab of Altavista.

Born June 26, 1941 in Pittsylvania County, VA, he was a son of the late Earl Wade Gregory, and Emma Mary Brooks Gregory.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Gregory, and Gerald Gregory.  Mr. Gregory was a sheet metal worker; and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cruising around in his Corvette, and stopping to place a bet or two.

He is survived by one son, Darren Smith and wife, Shelia of Lexington Park, MD; one daughter, Michelle Sears and husband, Wallace of California, MD; one brother, James Gregory of Gretna; two grandchildren, Shane Weasenforth and wife, Crystal, and Cody Keister; and one great-granddaughter, Makyia Weasenforth.

Memorial graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Green Lawn Cemetery by Larry Morris.
