Penhook………Harvey "Woody" Randolph Jamerson, age 85 of Penhook died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital.

Born February 21, 1936 in Henry County, he was a son of the late Albert Jamerson and Etheline Coleman Jones.  He was predeceased by one sister, Nancy Jamerson; three brothers, James Jamerson, Calvin Jones, and Allen Jones; and one grandson, Danny Kidwell.  Mr. Jamerson was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, Trustee, and Sunday School Teacher. He was a farmer; and enjoyed fishing and working on the farm.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Wells Jamerson of the residence; three sons, Randy Jamerson and wife, Debra of Penhook, Paul Jamerson and wife, Cindy of Penhook, and David Jamerson and wife, Jasmine of Sandy Level; one brother, Bobby Jones and wife, Helen of Eden, NC; five grandchildren, Tracy Haley and husband, Chris, Kevin Jamerson and wife, Kayla, Paul Kidwell and wife, Jessica, Rachel Jamerson, and Rebecca Jamerson; and four great-grandchildren, Grayson Haley, Tristan Haley, Weston Jamerson, and Abigail Kidwell.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Liberty Memorial Cemetery by Pastor Kendell Smith.
