Hurt…….Ralph Lee Short, age 54 of Hurt died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born July 3, 1963 in Lynchburg, he was a son of William "Dick" Richard Short, Sr. and Doris Jean Elliott Short of Hurt.  Mr. Short was a former employee of English Construction.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and floating the river.

In addition to his father and mother he is survived by two daughters, Leigh Henderson and Sabrina Henderson; four brothers, Richard Short, Robert Short, Ray Short and Randy Short; and his girlfriend, Bonnie Henderson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
