Altavista……….Quentin Blaine (Buck) Andrews, age 59 of Altavista died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 7, 1955 in Danville he was a son of the late, Billipps Layfaette Andrews and Edith Talbott Andrews. Quentin was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and was a welder for P.C. Design. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, playing music, spending time outdoors, and being with friends.
He is survived by two daughters, Candice Andrews Witt of Hurt and Codie Andrews Cyrus and her fiancé, Cody Hurd of Altavista; one sister, Scarlette Deering of Gretna; one half-sister, Jennifer Keatts Arnold of Maine; one step-sister Paulette Fretwell of Gretna; two step-brothers, Carroll Keatts of Gretna and Leroy Keatts of Gretna; six grandchildren, Chamberlain Harris, Morgan Harris, Julie Bassett, Jason Hudson, Ken Cyrus and McKenzie Hurd.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Zion United Methodist Church by Rev. Harold Thornton and Rev. Jason Andrews.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
