Pittsville………Priscilla Ruth Johnson, age 85 of Pittsville died Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born December 30, 1939 in Tarrs, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Sherman Johnson and Margaret Grant Berg Johnson.  She was predeceased by two brothers, James Johnson and Sherman Johnson; and one sister, Margaret Ann Danks.  Priscilla was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and secretary for several medical practices in the Charlottesville, VA area.  She loved her church and was a very active member of Summersett Baptist Church.  Priscilla loved to sing and was a former member of the U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla Chorus.  She also enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Craddock and husband, Jay of Pittsville; one son, Mike Johnson and wife, Carolyn of Staunton; one sister, Kathy Potoka and husband, Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, PA; and three grandchildren, Joe Craddock, Faith Craddock and Rebecca Craddock.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Summersett Baptist Church, Operation Christmas Child in care of Joyce Sardella Church Treasurer, 3581 Brights Road, Gretna, VA 24557.
