Gretna…….Phyllis Ann Quick Adkins, age 79 of Gretna passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at her residence.

Born January 20, 1946 in Laurinburg, NC, she was a daughter of the late Paul Lester Quick and Hazel Woodard Giberson.  She was predeceased by a son, Greg Conner; a daughter, Candice Brumfield; a brother, Paul "Freddy" Quick; and a sister,  Mary Kathryn Clay.  Phyllis was a home maker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed studying the word of God.  Phyllis also enjoyed horses, shopping; and was a very joyful person who loved being around people.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Argyrakis and husband, Nick of Danville; two sons, Richard Conner (Sherri) of Hurt and Steve Adkins (Brenda) of Hurt; one sister, Frances Thompson and husband, Jack of Greensboro, NC; six grandchildren, Amanda Simpson and husband, Jeremy, Nicholas Argyrakis (Anne Penn), Coralia Argyrakis and husband, Max Lowe, Tiffany Fielder and husband, Terry, Greg Conner and Cody Brumfield; and seven great-grandchildren, Lance, Allie, Joseph, Levi, Joy, Alyssa and Calee.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2025 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery by Rev. Jason Andrews.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
