Phyllis Dalton Goad

Gretna.......Phyllis Dalton Goad, age 74, of 6521 Music Street, Gretna died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Gretna Health & Rehab.
Born December 16, 1935 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Russell Dalton and Gladys Hines Dalton. She was predeceased by a sister, Lavona Simpson. Mrs. Goad was a member of Weatherford Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Klopman.
She is survived by her husband, Elder Raymond Goad of the residence; two daughters, Pam Betterton and husband, Roger of Gretna and Stephanie Dawson and husband, Wendell of Gretna; two sisters, Patsy Barker of Gretna and Gail Crouse of Gretna; two grandchildren, Lauren Dawson and Brent Dawson; and her mother-in-law, Lucille Goad of Gretna.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Weatherford Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Marvin Brumfield, Elder Jimmy Grey and Elder Joe Sawyer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
