Hurt………Phillip Wayne Terry, age 76 of Hurt died Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at his residence.

Born December 5, 1945 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Vernon Edward Terry and Ann Loving Stanley Terry. He was predeceased by his wife, Panagiotula "Tula" Harris Terry; and one brother, Danny Franklin Terry. Mr. Terry served in the United States Navy, was a member of Wesleybury United Methodist Church and retired from Walmart. He loved watching old movies and spending time with his family, especially his loving daughter, Allie.

He is survived by one daughter, Allie Terry of Fort Polk, LA; and one sister, Tamera Hutcherson and husband, Tom of Hurt.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Wesleybury United Methodist Church by Rev. William A. Smith and Pastor Jeff Rhea. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at Wesleybury United Methodist Church and other times will be at the residence.
