Gretna……….Wayne Phillip "Phil" Crews, Jr., age 58 of Gretna died Friday, March 16, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

Born October 5, 1959 in Lynchburg, he was a son of Sue Milam Shelton and husband, Lyle and the late Wayne Phillip Crews, Sr.  He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and was a truck driver.  Phil enjoyed four wheeling and hunting.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan, he especially liked Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

In addition to his mother and step-father he is survived by two sisters, Cheryl Crews and Tammy Crews; one step-brother, Stuart Shelton and wife, Penny; and two step-sisters, Debra Orrack and husband, Bobby and Donna Shelton.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Greenfield Baptist Church by Rev. R.G. Rowland.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Greenfield Baptist Church and other times will be at the residence of his mother and step-father, Sue and Lyle Shelton, 789 Ray Mill Road, Gretna, VA.
