Evington……….Peggy Sue Keatts Spencer, age 54 of Evington died Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Born October 29, 1969 in Chillicothe, Ohio, she was a daughter of Carroll E. Keatts and wife, Patricia of Gretna, and the late Shirley Monroe Keatts. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Monroe; and her paternal grandparents, Cecil B. Keatts, Sr., and Geraldine F. Keatts. She loved her stepchildren, and cooking.  She was a fighter, and tried so hard to be independent.

In addition to her father and stepmother, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Violet F. Monroe of Wautoma, Wisconsin; one brother, Brian Keatts of Longs, South Carolina; close friend, Tammy Adkins; longtime friend, Penny Owens; a special nephew, Josh Palmer; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family in Wisconsin; and her cat, "Shadow," who is now with her friend, Tammy.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Spring Road Baptist Church, 2528 Spring Road, Hurt, VA 24563 by Pastor Ronnie Simpson.
