Hurt………Peggy Sue Dillon Rhodes, age 63 of Hurt died Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born September 20, 1959 in Rocky Mount, she was a daughter of the late Lester Lenford "Goat" Dillon and Ruby Joyce Adkins Dillon.  She was predeceased by one sister, Ada Joyce Dillon; and two brothers, Kenneth Dillon and Robert Dillon.  Peggy loved her grandkids; and she enjoyed watching the Lifetime Channel, being outdoors in the sun and talking on the phone.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Loomis of Gretna and Kathy Leigh Shelton of Gretna; one sister, Katherine Dillon Betterton of Hurt; three grandchildren, Destiny Layne of Gretna, Aiden Birchfield of Gretna and Bryce Loomis of Gretna; one great-grandchild, Kaisyn Moon; and one nephew, Shane Barbour of Gretna.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden by Rev. Greg Hedrick.
