Rocky Mount…….Paula Dixon Rankin, age 45 of  Rocky Mount passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

Born July 30, 1979 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late William Lee Dixon and Debra Harvey Smith.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Billy Dixon and Jerry Dixon.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Deanna Rankin, Erin Rankin and Preston Rankin; two sisters, Patricia Smith  and husband Courtney and Amanda Overton; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Paula was a loving daughter, sister, mother niece and friend to many and will be truly missed.

Per her request there will be no public service.

The family would like to thank Rocky Mount Health and Rehab for their great care of Paula in her last few years.
