Gretna………Paul "Mickey" McKinley Catron, Sr. age 72 of Gretna died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.
Born February 11, 1943 in Anawalt, WV he was a son of the late Harry Duard Catron and Willa Jones Catron. Mr. Catron was predeceased by his wife, Maxine Rowland Catron; and one sister, Diana Hughes. Mr. Catron was a member and Deacon at Gretna Christian Church and was truck driver for NAPA. He enjoyed camping, fishing, working in the garden, and going to races, movies and church functions.
He is survived by one son, Paul M. Catron, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Gretna; five brothers, Danny Ray Catron and his wife, Madeline of Athens WV, Ronald Catron and his wife, Ethelene of Dry Fork, Roy Catron and his wife, Cindy of Gretna, Clifton Catron and his wife, Xinfenglin of Huntsville, AL and Tony Catron and his wife, Sarah of Nashville, TN; his mother-in-law, Katherine Crawley Rowland, a brother-in-law, Darrell Rowland and two grandsons, James McKinley Catron and Tyler Lee Catron.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Gretna Christian Church by Lee Ashley, Minister, Rev. Dwight Mays and Rev. Michael Allen. Entombment will follow in Gretna Burial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
