Gretna………Pattie "Pat" Dalton Hopkins, age 71 of Gretna, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at UVA Medical Center.

Born November 28, 1951 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Roy Chester Dalton and Alice Gertrude Dalton.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Penny Lynn Arthur; five brothers, Oscar Dalton, Robert Dalton, Roy "Monkey" Dalton, Jesse Ray Dalton and Lee Dalton; and one sister, Gladys Keatts.  Pat was a member of Summersett Baptist Church and she retired from First National Bank.  She enjoyed traveling, flowers, her tomato plants, dancing, and going out and having fun.

She is survived by one son, Curtis Arthur, Jr. of Hurt; two grandchildren, Shiane Arthur and Curtis W. Arthur III; three sisters, Catherine Susie Reynolds and husband, Tommy of Sandy Level, Lucy Wilkes of Lynchburg and Nancy Worley of Lynchburg; and one brother, Earl Dalton and wife, Lucy of Amelia.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 at Summersett Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Andrews and Pastor Ronnie Simpson.

The family will receive friends at the residence, 1537 Paisley Road, Gretna, VA.
