Gretna……Patsy "Pat" Yeatts Wheeler, age 82 of Gretna died Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Centra Gretna Medical Center.

Born October 8, 1942 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late John Yeatts and Margaret Scruggs Yeatts.  She was predeceased by her husband, Donald "Don" Wayne Wheeler, Sr.  Mrs. Wheeler was a home maker and loved spending time with her family.  She also loved to read, especially romance novels and was an avid reader at the public library in Gretna.

She is survived by two daughters, Dana Wheeler of Richmond and Lisa Strain and husband, Billy of Pittsville; one son, Don W. Wheeler, Jr. and wife,  Sherry of Evington; four grandchildren, Will Strain, Sydney Strain, Kaylee Wheeler and Kaleb Wheeler; and her fuzzy companion, Solo.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Lynn Marstin.
