ANGIER, NC - Patsy "Pat" Watlington Hutcherson, 82, passed away on Tuesday at her home. A native of Virginia, Pat was the daughter of the late Paul Grove Watlington and Sallye Allen Watlington. Pat enjoyed life to the fullest, you could find her following her son, Reece to civil war reenactments and antique shopping. She was an avid reader and professional crossword puzzle solver who loved to travel, especially to the Pennsylvania Amish Country. Though nothing made her happier in life than seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and accomplish new things.

The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, NC on Saturday, May 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 16th at 2:00 PM at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home Chapel, 307 N. Main St. Gretna, VA 24557. The brief graveside service will follow at St. Andrews United Methodist Church Cemetery, 10164 E. Gretna Rd. Gretna, VA 24557.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Lisa H. Honeycutt (Craig) of Angier; son, Reece Coleman Hutcherson, II of Greensboro; sister, Paulette Adkins (Henry) of Chatham, VA; sister-in-law, Vicki McKensey Watlington of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Savannah Powell (Ben) of Angier, Sarah Stefanicki (Keith) of High Point, Hannah Hutcherson and Anslee Hutcherson both of Greensboro; great-grandchildren, Elle Stefanicki of High Point, Paisleigh Powell of Angier, and Kate Stefanicki of High Point; and a lifelong family friend, Doris Ann McMurray of Fayetteville.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Coleman Hutcherson; brother, Paul Allen Watlington.
