Waynesboro……Patsy Anne Motley, age 76 of Waynesboro, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at River Edge Rehab and Nursing in Waynesboro.

Born July 25, 1947 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph William Motley, and Annie Vernon Motley.  She was predeceased by her sister, Gracie Giles; and her brother-in-law, Ellice Giles.  Patsy retired from Ennis Business; and was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church where she played the piano, and was involved in many other church activities.  She enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by two brothers, Ellis Motley and wife, Hilda of Forest, and Lawrence Motley and wife, Mary of Crimora.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Oak Grove Christian Church Cemetery by Mike Waters, Minister.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Oak Grove Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to Oak Grove Christian Church, 20581 US Highway 29, Chatham, VA 24531.
