Chatham………Patrick James O'Rourke, age 65 of Chatham, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his residence.
Born April 26, 1952 in New York, NY, he was a son of the late Patrick Joseph O'Rourke and Margaret Ann McGuire O'Rourke. Mr. O'Rourke was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a carpenter. He had a passion for sailing and lived on his boat for a time in the Florida Keys. Mr. O'Rourke also enjoyed history and geology.
He is survived by two sons, Devin Patrick O'Rourke and wife, Kristen of Barnegat, NJ and Sean O'Rourke of Whiting, NJ; one sister, Mary Ann Vitelli and husband, James of Union Hall; and his wife, Patricia Gorham O'Rourke of Whiting, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at a later date on the Jersey Shore.
