Hurt…….Patricia Kinsler Haskins, age 69 of Hurt was called home to be with the Lord Friday, February 15, 2013 at the residence of her son, Scott.
Born December 11, 1943 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter the late Milum L. Kinsler and Mattie Bob Tuck Kinsler. She was predeceased by her husband of over 52 years, William (Pete) Maynard Haskins; and three brothers, Larry (Butch) Kinsler, Jimmy Kinsler, and Milum L. Kinsler, Jr. Mrs. Haskins was a former employee of Piedmont Manufacturing. She enjoyed talking to people, and being hospitable to friends and family.
She is survived by one son, Scott Haskins and his wife, Jacquie of Lynchburg; one brother, Robert (Bud) Kinsler and his wife, Doris of Hurt; five grandchildren, Derek Haskins, Mark Haskins, Wesley Haskins, Fawn Haskins, and Hannah Haskins; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Colbert-Moran Chapel by Lory Brafford, Minister. Burial will follow in Altavista Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, and other times will be at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Scott & Jacquie Haskins, 132 Sandy Drive, Lynchburg.
