Gretna……….Patricia "Pat" Yeatts Dalton, age 76 of Gretna died Monday, October 14, 2024 at her residence.

Born August 5, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Pershing Yeatts and Gladys Myers Yeatts.  She was predeceased by one brother, Kenneth Ray Yeatts; and one sister, Gloria Doss.  Mrs. Dalton was a member of Piney Fork Baptist Church where she served as choir director for over 40 years, church clerk, and Sunday School Teacher.  She went on many mission trips including trips to Mexico, Russia and Ecuador.  She was a dental assistant for Dr. Whitehead for over 30 years.  She also worked as a receptionist for DOAR in Chatham and volunteered for Centra Gretna E.R.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Wilson Dalton of the residence; one daughter, Dana Adams and husband, Smitty of Gretna; two brothers, Jesse Yeatts of Gretna and Lowell "Rudy" Yeatts and wife, Dorothy of Gretna; and four grandchildren, Zachary Adams, Jonathan Adams, Trevor Adams and Kayla Adams.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Piney Fork Baptist Church by Pastor Drake King.   Burial will follow in the Yeatts Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
