Gretna………Pamela Sue "Pam" Scruggs Rowland, age 56 of Gretna died Monday, January 28, 2019 at her residence.

Born April 9, 1962 in Danville, she was a daughter of Eloise Adkins Scruggs of Gretna and the late Berkley Lee "Bobby" Scruggs.  She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Carl O. "Joe" Rowland, Sr.  Mrs. Rowland was a member of Greenpond Baptist Church and was an employee of Schrader-Pacific.  She enjoyed bowling, gardening, fishing, shopping, watching old movies on TV, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Owen Rowland of the residence; one daughter, Brandie Worsham and husband, Kevin of Gretna; two brothers, Kenneth Scruggs of Gretna and Keith Scruggs and wife, Lari of Gretna; mother-in-law, Mary Rowland of Gretna; and two grandchildren, Kristen Worsham and Darrien Worsham.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Piney Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Matt Speck and Rev. Joseph N. Giles, Jr.
