Lynchburg………Oliver Lee Keesee, age 86 of Lynchburg died Monday, September 26, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born October 11, 1935 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Avery Thomas Keesee and Lessie Dalton Keesee.  He was predeceased by one brother, Reeves Keesee.  Mr. Keesee retired from Lynchburg Archer Creek Foundry; and he enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and baseball cards.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Emerson Keesee of the residence; two sons, Avery T. Keesee of Lynchburg, and Ricky W. Keesee of Lynchburg; one daughter, Linda Marie Lilly of Lynchburg, one step-daughter, Patricia A. Johnson of Lynchburg; one brother, Melvin Keesee and wife, Janice of Chatham; and one granddaughter, Holly Keesee.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Jeff Chapman.  Burial will follow in Gretna Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
