Hurt.........Odie Floyd Falls, age 80 of Hurt, died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his residence.

Born March 29, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, he was a son of the late Willie Cundiff Falls, Sr. and Hilda Hedrick Payne. He was predeceased by one brother, Willie C. Falls Jr. and a sister, Shirley Reynolds. Mr. Falls attended New Beginnings Baptist Church and retired from Food Lion. Odie enjoyed gardening, bluegrass music, watching old westerns & action movies, NASCAR, boxing and MMA. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, Maya.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Rowles Falls of the residence; two sons, Kevin Falls and wife, Heather of Reidsville, NC and Aubrey Falls and wife, Jenny of Hurt; and four grandchildren, Breighanna Moon, Brody Falls, Kailee Falls and Liam Falls.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Bobby Brumfield. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
