Gretna……….Norma  Weeks Taylor, age 89 of Gretna, died Friday, February 14, 2025 at Chatham Health and Rehab Center.

Born March 9, 1935 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Willie Tell Weeks and Myrtle Inez Simpson Weeks. She was predeceased by a sister, Janice W. Ellis. Mrs. Taylor was a member at Hurt United Methodist Church and worked for Wells Fargo Bank for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Edward H. Taylor of the residence; one son, Steve Taylor of Starkville, MS; one brother, Ronald Weeks and wife, Mona of Raleigh, NC; and one grandchild, Wyatt Taylor of Bellevue, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Betty Marshall. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.
