Gretna………Nellie Sue Hedrick Bolling, age 86 of Gretna died Friday, April 4, 2025 at her residence.

Born January 17, 1939 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Benny Hedrick and Callie Gibson Hedrick.  She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Elton Bolling; one sister, Stella Hedrick King; and brother-in-law, Tom King.  Mrs. Bolling was a member of Gretna Church of God of Prophecy and she retired from Bassett Furniture.   She enjoyed working puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Bolling Crews and husband, Brian of Gretna; one son, Walter Elton Bolling of Gretna; one brother, Larry Hedrick and wife, Agnes of Lynch Station; one sister, Frances Hedrick Shelton of Gretna; two grandchildren, Jason L. Waller of Gretna and Jessica R. Crews and fiancé, Timothy Pressley of Nathalie; and a great-grandchild, Brayden Waller.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Gretna Burial Park by Rev. Albert Moser.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
