Gretna……..Nancy Trent Wyatt, age 85 of Gretna passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Gretna Health and Rehab Center.

Born September 19, 1939 she was a daughter of the late Garland Rowland and Christine Woodson Rowland. She was predeceased by her husband Ronney James Wyatt; one brother, Bill Trent; two sisters, Delma Chumley and Juanita Tribble; and an infant granddaughter, Angel Wyatt. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a former schoolteacher with Pittsylvania County Schools. She was a very social person who was always well-dressed, and she enjoyed traveling, shopping, and staying on the go. Nancy loved her family, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Wyatt and wife, Charlene of Hurt and Chris Wyatt and wife, Karen of Gretna; two sisters, Shelby Buffington of Gretna and Christine Puckett and husband, Al of Rustburg; five grandchildren, Justin Wyatt and wife, Michelle, Corey Wyatt and wife, Shauna, Jamie Wyatt, Matthew Wyatt and Jesse Wyatt; 7 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Nat Blanks.

Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 at Altavista Memorial Park by Pastor Ricky Hogan.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
