Java…….Nancy Maria Gross Upton, age 82 of Java died Sunday, October 27, 2024 at her residence.

Born November 20, 1941 in Blue Hill, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Basil Adam Gross and Leah Closson Gross.  She was predeceased by one brother, Dr. Alton Frank Gross.  Nancy was a retired CPA.  She loved horses; and raised dogs for many years having raised over 100 American Kennel Club championship dogs.

She is survived by one son, Basil Upton and wife, Melissa; two grandchildren, Katelyn Upton and Brent Upton and wife, Katie; a special friend, Robin Astbury; a sister-in-law, Vicky Gross; two nephews, Steve Gross and wife, Debbie and Andrew Harris; one niece, Emilea Gross and wife, Jes; and her dog, Cujo.

Per her request there will be no public service.
