Gretna…….Myrtle Yeatts Moss, age 75 of Gretna died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab.
Born March 1, 1942 in Pittsylvania County she was a daughter of the late Eugene Eldridge Yeatts and Edna Earl Scruggs Yeatts. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Ray Moss; and four brothers, Thomas Yeatts, Archie Yeatts, Roger Yeatts and Ricky Yeatts. Mrs. Moss was of the Baptist faith and was a former employee of A.O. Smith, Inc. She enjoyed the outdoors, doing crossword puzzles, visiting with friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Moss of Moneta; three sisters, Barbara Rowles of Chatham, Wanda East of Chatham and Sherry Johnson of Danville; two grandchildren, Ethan Clay and Emily Clay; two great-grandchildren, Adrian Hargrove and Alijah Hargrove; three sisters-in-law, Betty Amos of Gretna, Carol Moss of Gretna and Barbara Moss of Danville; a brother-in-law, Randy Moss and wife, Joyce of Hurt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
