Gretna…..Robert Morris Osborne, age 69 of Gretna died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born August 25, 1948 in Pittsylvania County he was a son of the late Joel Clay Osborne and Stella Towler Osborne. He was predeceased by one sister, Velma Jean Osborne Mayhew. Mr. Osborne retired from Klopman Mills and loved to fish. He also enjoyed riding around the countryside and watching old westerns on TV.
He is survived by two brothers, Joe Osborne and wife, Brenda of Gretna and Larry Osborne of Snow Camp, NC; a niece Rhonda M. Francis and husband, Steve of Gretna; and a brother-in-law, Tom Mayhew of Gretna.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Wagner Family Cemetery by Rev. Curtis English.
The family will receive friends at the residence of his brother-in-law, Tom Mayhew, 8361 Climax Road, Gretna.
