Chatham……..Moncie Lee Brumfield, age 75, of Chatham entered into his Heavenly Father's arms on December 8, 2020.

He was born on October 26, 1945 in Pittsylvania County to the late Leffie and Clarine Brumfield.  He was predeceased by 4 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 grandson.

Moncie enjoyed fishing, going to sales, riding around, dancing, and singing, but most of all spending time with his family and two dogs, Goldie and Princess.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Brumfield, and great-grandson, DeShaune Smith of the residence; three children he gained by his marriage to Gloria, Vicki Pickeral (Harry), Sam Worley, Jr. (Karen), and Rosalie Barker (Donnie); ten grandchildren, Melissa (Eric), Jessica (Jody), Eugene (Mandy), Luke, Crystal (Jason), Bo, Melanie, Tammy (Michael), Samantha (Joshua), and  Patrick; 27 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Clara Smith (Wayne); one brother, Dean Brumfield; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Brumfield Family Cemetery at 2908 Brights Road, Gretna, VA 24557 by Pastor David Rowland.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
