Hurt……….Mildred Delappe Hall, age 98 of Hurt died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Gretna Health & Rehab.
Born March 14, 1919 in Guilford County, NC she was a daughter of the late Arthur Spaugh Delappe and Alma Beulah Blessard Delappe. She was predeceased by her husband, William Henry "Bo" Hall; two sons, Larry Hall and Danny Hall; one daughter, Della H. Bell; one grandson, Billy Bell; and seven brothers and two sisters. She was a member of Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church, which she loved deeply and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hall enjoyed cooking and taking care of her friends and family.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane H. Anderson and husband, John of Long Island; two sons, Donnie Hall and wife, Sandra of Hurt and Sammy Hall and wife, Linda of Hurt; one sister, Patsy O'Neill and husband, Bob of Raleigh, NC; and 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Hurt Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Mark Hopkins and Rev. Lynn Marstin. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times will be at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and John Anderson and at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Sammy and Linda Hall.
