Michelle Barnes, age 57 of Midland, NC passed away July 7, 2025.

Michelle was born November 22, 1968 in Orlando, FL to the late Linda Bane and the late Allen Gibson. Michelle was adopted by the late Zeb and Robertta Jones of Pittsville, VA, who loved her deeply and provided a wonderful home.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her beloved son, Taylor O'Ryan Barnes, sister Donna Gail Jones, and nephew, Sydney O'Ryan Jones.

Michelle is survived by her daughter, Lily Mae Parsons (Jadyn) of Campbellsville, KY, partner, Kenneth Blue of the residence, an aunt, Bonnie Cox of Gretna, VA, an uncle, David Worley (Beverly) of Harrisburg, NC. She also leaves behind her beloved friends, Julie Litchfield of Mooresville, NC and Don Kiser of NC. Michelle also leaves behind her furry companions, Ozzy and Baby.

Michelle was a loving person and always ready to help. She loved to tell jokes and laugh. She was most happy around her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening and watching The Golden Girls and eating QT pretzels.

She was of the Baptist faith and would always say "Keep the Faith". She will be greatly missed by all that knew her
