Pittsville……….Michael Patrick Napier, age 59 of Pittsville died Friday, September 3, 2021 at his residence.

Born May 1, 1962 in Redbank, New Jersey, he was a son of the late honorable Alfred John Napier and Kathryn Mara Napier.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Jack Napier, and Larry Napier; and one nephew, Vincent Napier Murray. Michael graduated from Wake Forest University in North Carolina and was a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, AL. Mr. Napier practiced law for several years before moving to Virginia in 2005.  He enjoyed nature walking, and reading.

He is survived by one sister, Carol Murray and husband, Edward of Bricktown, New Jersey; two sister-in-law's, Kathryn Napier and Robbin Napier; nine nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

At the request of the family there will be no public service.
